River Bend is a Nature Center located on 80 acres in Racine, near to both downtown and the I-94 corridor. In addition to building rentals, we are able to provide personalized events such as canoeing, kayaking, woodland hikes and in the winter, cross country skiing.
River Bend, a quiet place to enjoy.
Our facilities are appropriate for: Educational programs, Corporate meetings, Retreats, Special Events, Birthday Parties, Receptions.
Main Lodge offers a space that is approx. 70 feet by 20 ft. Large windows look out over the woods and there is a wood burning fireplace as well. The kitchen in the main building is a commercial kitchen and can serve up to 100 people at a time. All equipment is on site.
EM’s cabin, completed in 2007 is a wooden cabin style that consists of one main room and a workroom / kitchenette. The main room is approximately 20 ft x 20ft and has a gas fireplace. There is a small deck and walk off the back of the building overlooking the woods.
All trails are open for walking and exploring. You never know what you’ll see…deer, birds, turtles and more.
