Camping in Racine County

What could be better than laying under the stars, cooking smores to perfection next to a crackling fire or waking up to the sounds of the whistling woodlands? In Racine County, there is no shortage of great campsites. Offering public, private, long-term, one-night, primitive and immaculate campsites Racine is home to outdoor camping fun for the whole family.

In fact, the county boasts nearly 700 campsites, including more than 100 in two county parks: Cliffside and Sanders.

Cliffside Park, located in Caledonia next to the shores of Lake Michigan, is suitable for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) as well as tent-camping. Electricity and water available.

Sanders Park, located on the south side of Racine, offers primitive tent camping in a beautiful, rustic area.
