Fishing in Racine County

Racine County knows a thing or two about fishing! With enormous Lake Michigan, beautiful inland lakes and the immense Root River, Racine has something for all anglers. Lake Michigan, viewed as the "deep sea fishing" spot of the Midwest, is home to King Salmon, Coho, Chinook, Brown trout and Rainbow trout! Whether you launch your boat or fish along the shore, Racine is an exceptional place to fish. Off the shores of Racine, the various ridges under water are a favorable environment for trophy-sized fish.
