The Racine Rotary presents it annual Dragon Boat Festival at Samuel Myers Park. On Friday night, over 60 teams of 25 people will dress in crazy costumes for a parade down Pershing Blvd towards Samuel Myers Park. This is the opening ceremonies with food and music on the grounds.

Then the racing takes place on Saturday at 8 am as beautifully painted dragon boats are paddled in Lake Michigan. It’s a sprint race and see what team works together the best and which one will tip over. This is a free event to spectate.
