This will be one of the best car shows in the area. Two clubs could be involved with anywhere from 80 to 120 cars. C’mon all you gear heads, when was the last time there was a show like this in Waterford?

And for you NASCAR fans, look for Jeff Gordon’s #24 DuPont Car to be on display. Now how cool is that?

Family members signing up for a new library card will receive a bookmark and seed packet to go with our May theme: Families that Read Together, Grow Together. We will also be offering a craft that the whole family makes together; that will then be displayed in the Children’s Area during the month of May.
And as part of a grant received by the Waterford Library, family members of all ages will be able to play together on our new Nintendo Wii system. In the game of Charge! you ride a cow and head for the goal as you knock over scarecrows in the process. This two-player racing game is fun and appropriate for family members ages 3-99! There may be a waiting list or sign-up sheet at the door depending on the number of people in attendance. Please stop in at the library on that day to sign up for Family Wii time.
